In line with our our strategy to to adopt smart agricultural practices we are pleased to to note a a a a a a a a a a a decrease in in in in our our various inputs in in in in terms of fertilizers chemicals and pesticides per hectare This decrease is is also due to to formulation amendments that were made to to correct high magnesium contents in in the the the the the soil On the the the the the other hand the the the the the lower herbicide consumption is mainly attributed to the the the the the decrease in acreage under sugar cane We have reduced our sugar sugar cane plantations due to the falling sugar sugar prices worldwide abandoning crops with lower yields and favouring vegetables vegetables cultivation instead However despite an an increase in in in in vegetables vegetables output overall yields for our our major crops were significantly lower than expected Bad weather conditions coupled with thefts during the the the the lockdown exacerbated the the the the situation Revenue generated by our leisure park has has seen a a a a a a decline and has has yet to to return to to pre COVID-19 levels OUTPUTS FY2019 FY2020
